Creating Topic files

Create Topic file - connected to Table of Contents

1. Right-click the TOC node you want to connect the new topic to.
2. Click 'New...'
   The New Topic Item dialog opens.
3. Enter Title and select Template for the kind of topic you want to create, and press OK
   

Results:

• A New_features.htmL Page is inserted in the project folder with a name as under 'Page' and 'Title' already set.
• The new page is added to the Table Of Contents

Create Topic file - not connected to TOC

1. Select the Backstage tab
2. Press the New button
3. Press the appropriate template
   
   Depending on what variables are present in the template, you may be asked for:

• Title for the page
  
• Topic that is the parent

Results:

• A New_features.htmL Page is inserted in the project folder with a name as under Page and title already set.
